Realtor FAQs for Photographers

If you’re a real estate agent, chances are you’ve had a few questions when it comes to hiring a professional photographer for your listings. Whether it’s about how to prep a property or what kind of shots will get the most attention, these are conversations I have regularly with clients. One of the most common questions is, "How should the home be prepared before the shoot?" The answer is simple: clean, declutter, and light it up. A well-prepared home photographs better and allows potential buyers to focus on the space, not the distractions.

Another frequent question is, "Do you offer drone photos or video?" The short answer is yes—and it can make a big difference. Aerial shots help showcase property size, surrounding features, and give buyers a better sense of layout before they even step inside. Especially for larger homes or those on unique lots, drone content adds major value. I’m FAA Part 107 certified, so everything is done legally, safely, and professionally, giving you both peace of mind and eye-catching media.

Realtors also often ask, "How quickly can I get the photos back?" and I completely understand why—that timeline can make or break a listing launch. I aim for a fast turnaround, typically within 24 to 48 hours, so you can hit the market without delay. Agents are busy, and listings move fast, so my workflow is designed to keep pace without sacrificing quality. I also get asked if I can help with tricky properties—like small spaces or dark rooms—and the answer is absolutely. With the right lighting, angles, and editing, even the toughest properties can shine.

Finally, there's the big one: "Are professional photos really worth it?" Without hesitation—yes. Professional photography helps listings sell faster and often at higher prices, while also boosting your personal brand as a realtor. Great visuals attract more clicks, more showings, and ultimately more offers. Whether you’re working a modest starter home or a million-dollar property, the right images tell the right story. If you’re ready to elevate your listings and make a stronger impression with every post, I’d love to be the one behind the camera.
